1. Who We Are
This Privacy Policy explains how Sonaopus ("we," "us," "our") handles information when you use the Sonaopus website and its tools, together "the Service."
By using Sonaopus, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information Stored Locally on Your Device
The following data is created and stored entirely in your browser's local storage, on your own device. We do not have access to it, and it is never transmitted to us:
- Workflow inputs — the details you enter into each stage (for example, a role description, a case summary, a listing's details, an executive's context)
- Generated output history — records of what was produced, kept locally so you can pick up a workflow where you left off
- In-progress workflow state — your position within a multi-stage workflow, so closing the tab doesn't lose your place
This is what allows you to close the tab and return later, exactly where you left off, without an account or login.
2.2 Information Transmitted to Third-Party AI Assistants
When you choose to send your workflow input onward, it is transmitted directly to the AI assistant you select:
- Claude and ChatGPT — one click opens the assistant directly (claude.ai or chatgpt.com) with your input pre-loaded, ready to write. Your input is not passed through a URL.
- Gemini — your input is copied to your clipboard for you to paste into gemini.google.com yourself.
In every case, this only happens when you actively choose to send or copy your input. Sonaopus does not transmit anything automatically or in the background. Once sent, what happens to that information is governed by the privacy policy of whichever assistant you used:

2.3 Information We Do Not Collect
- The content of anything you type into any stage of any workflow
- Names, case details, employee information, client information, or any other personal or business data you enter
- Copies of documents, drafts, or outputs generated by your AI assistant
- Any content-level analytics or telemetry on what you write or generate
2.4 Standard Hosting Logs
Sonaopus is hosted on Netlify. As a normal part of serving any website, Netlify may automatically log basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, and request timestamps. This logging happens at the hosting infrastructure level; Sonaopus does not configure it and has no access to it beyond what Netlify provides. Beyond this standard hosting-level logging, Sonaopus runs no analytics or tracking tools of its own. There is no Google Analytics, no pageview tracking, and no content-level telemetry.
2.5 Payment Information
When you purchase a Sonaopus product, payment is processed entirely by Gumroad. Sonaopus does not receive, process, or store your payment card details. Gumroad's privacy policy governs this: https://gumroad.com/privacy
3. How We Use Information
Because Sonaopus does not receive or store the content of what you enter, there is no server-side use of your workflow information to describe. Locally stored data is used solely to run the Service on your device: displaying your saved progress, populating a stage you've already filled in, and formatting your input before you choose to send it to an AI assistant.
4. How We Store Information
All workflow inputs, generated output history, and in-progress workflow state are stored locally on your device, in your browser's local storage for sonaopus.com. This data remains on your device unless you clear it yourself; we do not have a mechanism to access, back up, or retrieve it.
Payment records are held by Gumroad as part of processing your purchase, under Gumroad's own retention practices.
5. How We Share Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your information to third parties. We share information only as described below.

We may also disclose information if required to do so by law, court order, or governmental request, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights or the safety of others.
6. Cookies
Sonaopus itself does not set cookies. If you proceed to purchase, Gumroad's checkout page may set its own cookies as part of processing payment, governed by Gumroad's privacy policy linked in Section 2.5.
7. Your Rights and Choices
Data Deletion
Because all workflow data lives in your browser's local storage, you can delete it yourself at any time by clearing your browser's site data for sonaopus.com. There is no account or server-side copy for us to delete on your behalf.
Access Rights
Since we do not store your workflow content, case details, or personal information on any server, there is no server-side data for us to provide you a copy of. Everything you've entered is already accessible to you directly, on your own device, at any time.
Data Portability
Sonaopus does not currently offer a built-in export feature for locally stored workflow data. If you need this, contact us and we'll advise on the best way to retrieve it from your browser's storage.
8. Children's Privacy
Sonaopus is not directed at, and is not intended for use by, anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
9. Security
- No server-side storage, by design. Because Sonaopus does not operate a server that stores your workflow content, there is no central database of your information to be breached.
- Transport encryption. Communication between your browser and sonaopus.com, and between your browser and the AI assistants or Gumroad, uses standard HTTPS/TLS encryption.
- Device-level security is yours to manage. Because your workflow data lives in your browser's local storage, its security depends on your own device and browser security (for example, using a passcode or not sharing your browser profile).
No method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will note them on this page. The "Last Updated" date above indicates when this policy was last revised. Your continued use of Sonaopus after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
